HAYDEE SMEETS Peacefully, on Monday, November 8, 2004, at the Health Sciences Centre, Haydee Smeets passed away at the age of 66 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Joe; her son Joey; six sisters, Pearla, Emma, Leda, Jessie, Sr. Nieva and Agnes; her brother Ephrain; numerous nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and their families in the Philippines, Canada, U.S.A. and The Netherlands. Prayers will be said on Thursday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. at Christ The King Parish, 847 St. Marys Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 12, also at the church with Father Ron Pasinato celebrant. Cremation will take place. Interment will be held on Saturday, November 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Haydee dedicated 37 years to nursing in Winnipeg. She was a very generous person, always providing time and love to family and friends and patients. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Cancer. Special thanks are extended to the staff at Health Sciences Centre, CancerCare and friends who have offered their prayers and support.
